Who is excused from Fasting?

قال الله تعالى {فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فعِدّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ} سورة البقرة الآية/ ١٨٤

1-The person, who is traveling a distance that permits him not to fast, provided that his traveling is not sinful. However, if one does not want to fast the first day of one’s traveling, one must leave one’s hometown before Fajr (dawn) with the intention of traveling

عن أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الكعبي رَجُلُ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الله بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: أَغَارَتْ عَلَيْنَا خَيْلُ رَسُول الله صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْتَهَبْتُ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ الله صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ، فَقَالَ: اجْلِسْ فَأَصِبْ مِنْ طَعَامِنَا هَذَا، فَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ، قَالَ: اجْلِسْ أُحَدِّثُكَ عن الصَّلاةِ، وَعَنِ الصِّيَامِ، إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَضَعَ شَطْرَ الصَّلاةِ، أَوْ نِصْفَ الصَّلاةِ، وَالصَّوْمَ عن الْمُسَافِرِ، وَعَنِ الُمْرِضِعِ وَالْحُبْلَى. رواه أبوداود

2- Moreover, a nursing or pregnant woman is not obligated to fast when she is afraid to harm herself and/or her baby

During her menstrual or postpartum bleeding, it is sinful and invalid for a woman to fast
